The banquet facility for Threadgill's restaurant is called the Upstairs Store and is located behind the restaurant at 6416 North Lamar. It is a museum of 1930-1940 vintage that must be seen. The contents are distinctly central Texas and old Austin.

The Upstairs Store is perfect for a wide variety of occasions ranging from rehearsal dinners and reunions to fund raisers and business meetings.

Our format is a seated family-style banquet for which we provide the ultimate Southern feast: bowls and platters of the finest country cooking served on Blue Willow china by a fast, efficient crew of Threadgill's finest veterans.

The format includes three entrees, five vegetables or salads, hot fresh bread, and two homemade desserts of your choice that are too good for words. Iced tea and coffee are also provided. A feast that will send your party home with stories that will last for years.

The Upstairs store is available for lunch or dinner from 11 AM until 10 PM except for Thanksgiving Day and Christmas Day.



Upstairs Store Requirements
There is no charge for the room when food is served.

The charge for food is $24 per person, minimum 25 persons or $600. The maximum is 50 persons.

Additionally, there is a 20% gratuity, an 8.25% sales tax, and the option of a cash or open bar.

A final guest count is required for food preparation five days before the event and a 50% deposit is required to confirm the date.

Children under twelve are charged at a 50% rate and count for 1/2 a guest toward the 30 guest minimum.

The balcony of the Upstairs Store is a smoking porch. Smoking is prohibited inside building.

The charge for the room without food is $450.00
